LOSS/ПОТЕРЯ CONCEPT AND ITS TERMINOLOGICAL STATUS

Abstract.
The author undertakes the attempt to determine the terminological status of the concept LOSS/ПОТЕРЯ, considers it as the unit of a cogitative (conceptual) level, which gets partial objectivation in a language by means of a lexical level and is an abstract concept with a vividly expressed emotional-valuation component, features and characteristics presented in the article, and determines its place in the internal structure of a cognitive matrix represented by value domens.
