Abstract.
The author reveals the importance of modern information technologies use while forming students-linguists-interpreters' intercultural competence, and considers web-quest as the effective means of intercultural competence formation, which offers students the wide range of topical information, allows compensating foreign environment absence and is used for the creation of the situation of real authentic foreign communication.
