Abstract.
The author reveals the content of the notion teege in Buryat song spells, pays special attention to one of calendar-ceremonial songs - the song-spell of sheep teege closely associated in the past with the traditional Buryat stock-breeding labour and the way of life, and also undertakes the attempt of this word etymologization.
