EXPRESSION OF SUBJECT-AGENT IN BUSINESS LETTERS IN CASTILIAN LANGUAGE OF MEDIEVAL PERIOD

Abstract.
The author analyzes the main means of subject-agent expression in business letters in the Castilian language of the medieval period, on the one hand classifies subjects-initiators of action basing on traditional approaches with the application of quantity and certainty/uncertainty criteria, and on the other hand reveals some patterns of the expansion and compression of subject expression structure, as well as its component structure (in particular, topo-component, theo-component).
