METHODS FOR “MIXED EMOTIONS” FORMATION IN V. A. ZHUKOVSKII’S ELEGIES INTEGRATED BY MOTIVES OF DISAPPOINTMENT AND YOUTH FLEETINGNESS

Abstract.
The author considers the question of the formation of elegy genre criteria, recognizes “mixed emotions” as the dominant characteristic of the genre, ascertains the correlation between the motives and themes of elegies with the emergence of one or another emotional complex by the example of V. A. Zhukovskii’s elegies integrated by the motives of disappointment and youth fleetingness, reveals different methods for “mixed emotions” formation, and basing on the conducted analysis of the elegies formulates the basic criteria of “mixed emotions” formation.
