Abstract.
The author researches the artistic originality of the play “Live, My Child, Live!” by N. Belykh, reveals the composition solution of the play, original for the Komi dramaturgy, that consists in the use of the method “text in text”, and mentions that the use of this artistic method is conditioned by the desire of the playwright to display different periods of the historical development of the people, to trace the formation of a Komi person’s character.
