EUPHEMISTIC FUNCTION OF BORROWINGS

Abstract. The author considers the euphemistic function of borrowings by the material of the English euphemisms of toilet subject, analyzes foreign and domestic borrowings as the means of euphemisms formation, and comparing the British, Russian and Polish euphemisms reveals the examples of interlingual euphemistic borrowings.
