FEATURES OF REPRESENTATION OF DOMINANT CONCEPT “FAMILY” IN FREE INDIRECT SPEECH (BY MATERIAL OF NOVEL “THE DA VINCI CODE” BY D. BROWN)

Abstract. The author reveals the specificity of the implementation of the concept FAMILY - one of dominant and sense formative concepts in the text of the novel “The Da Vinci Code” by D. Brown, pays particular attention to the features of the representation of this concept in the inner speech of the novel heroes, and basing on it comes to the conclusion about the causative role of the concept “family”, performing the function of the characters’ motivation.
