Abstract.
The author reveals the manifestation of social-cultural isolation of Cossack socium, as well as the reasons and conditions for preserving the integrity of Cossack lifestyle, undertakes the attempts to determine the value guidelines, which were common in Cossack environment, analyzes the specificity of language implementation of Cossack isolation in literary texts, and pays special attention to the nature of the linguistic representation of Cossack military mission.
