Abstract.
The author considers the essence of genre variety of operating instruction Missing Manual from the perspective of pragmatic approach, determines the core of operating instruction genre and its periphery, traces the formation of this genre variety, analyzes compositional and language figuration of Missing Manual, and presents the classification of Missing Manual depending on the sphere of device (gadget) or software functioning.
