Abstract.
The author studies the means of expressiveness in the German-language texts of parable, tells that the novelty of this work is in the consideration and analysis of lexical means of figurativeness by the examples of the German-language parable texts: comparisons, metaphors, and its varieties, epithets; and basing on the analysis concludes that parable language is rich enough in tropes, has the developed system of lexical expressiveness against neutral vocabulary.
