Abstract.
The author considers the questions of Azerbaijan linguistics in comparative form in the journal “Turkology”, with this purpose involves in the research the materials from the journal “Turkology”, emphasizes that a lot of prominent scientists, researching the Azerbaijan language in comparative form, used the experience of the work “Дивани лугати – ит тюрк” by Mahmud Kashgari; and comparing it with the vocabulary material of the Azerbaijan language dialects and subdialects ascertains the originality of dialect words, mentioned by Mahmud Kashgari.
