“BRIGHT SKY” AND “BLACK EARTH”: THEME OF DESPIRITUALIZATION IN NOVEL “ANCESTOR” BY V. MAKANIN

Abstract.
The author reveals the specificity of main character’s image ideological content in the novel “Ancestor” by V. S. Makanin, and analyzes the ways of Makanin’s parody of biblical images and plot situations, which allows drawing conclusions about the original functional orientation of parody in Makanin’s novel, where this artistic technique becomes an important tool of mass despiritualization representation – according to Makanin, the pathological and destructive phenomenon of early modern period.
