Abstract.
The author determines and reveals the basic notions in works “Francois Villon” and “The State and Rhythm” by Osip Mandelstam, emphasizes the relations of these articles on the philosophical level, shows how the elements of the triad “rhythm – Gothic – dynamics” interact with each other, pays special attention to intertextual relations, and comes to the conclusion that this trinity is peculiar to not only the works of Villon, but Osip Mandelstam as well.
