Abstract.
By the material of the novel “Peter Camenzind” by Swiss-German writer of the ХХ
th century Hermann Hesse the author presents the research results of personification as artistic-expressive means that denotes and expresses the concept “spiritual experiences”, reveals the cognitive-pragmatic characteristics of personification, ascertains the individually-authorial associative connection of clouds as a natural phenomenon and deep spiritual experiences of protagonist Peter Camenzind in the novel, and determines the axiological status of the concept “spiritual experiences”.
