ORIGIN AND FORMATION OF NOTION “POLITICAL CORRECTNESS”

Abstract. The author considers the formation of the notion “political correctness”, tells that the prerequisite for the origin of this notion is that the term was popularized by its use in the various programmes of political parties, defines the term “political correctness”, and also studies the process of formation and distribution of this phenomenon within the United States of America.
