Abstract.
The author considers the main features in the process of borrowing foreign vocabulary of the German origin in the Russian language of the contemporary period, pays attention to the different thematic groups that can be completed by means of foreign vocabulary, and by the material of various foreign words dictionaries, explanatory, etymological dictionaries, compared languages reveals and describe semasiological relations.
