PROSODIC SOUND CHARACTERISTICS OF PHRASES CONTAINING IDIOMATIC EXPRESSIONS

Abstract. The author describes the process and results of experimental-phonetic research of phrases containing phraseological units with somatism head, studies the prosodic characteristics of sentences containing idiomatic expressions in comparison with the phrases with negative non-idiomatic vocabulary, and analyzes the high-rise, tonal, configurational and tempo-rhythmic sound characteristics.
