Abstract.
The author describes the lexical means of expressing author’s linguistic personality in the American political cartoons, which study contributes to the process of categorization of knowledge of the linguistic personality, the features of his existence and functioning, as well as the detailed structuring of the processes of political reality representation, and pays special attention to the stylistic means that enrich the content of cartoons and focus attention on the social and political problems.
