Abstract.
The author discusses the question of correlation between language and culture, as well as the representation methods of geographical location, climatic conditions, and primary people occupation features in the language, contributing to the formation of nation mentality, cultural values and communicative conventions of the certain linguo-cultural community; and pays special attention to the demonstration of the correlation between consciousness and language: the images of consciousness formed in certain environmental conditions and within the framework of particular culture are projected into the semantics of linguistic units.
