Abstract. The article is devoted to the consideration of the cultural-social space of the philosophical idea of being – the Turkic people philosophy of steppe. The authors by means of Ch. Aitmatov’s literary discourse study the Turkic steppe not only as historical native land, but as national, enveloping the common human destiny, multi-sided past. In linguistic image of Ch. Aitmatov “steppe” is the concept, converted from wide outstretched steppes into integral, spiritual-philosophical, social, world outlook space.
