Abstract.
The article is devoted to the consideration of language picture of the world and language consciousness of the Korean language basing on the pilot research on kinship terms system. The author analyzes the results obtained in the course of the experiment, emphasizing the classification of associative fields, which are formed from respondents’ reactions to each term. The author also introduces a gender parameter, under which the characteristic patterns, represented in speakers’ consciousness, are revealed.
