Abstract.
The article considers the dynamics of language and speech means used in the Beatles song texts throughout the entire period of their creative work. The author conducts the comparative analysis of the vocabulary, grammar and means of expression of the texts from early and late periods. As a result two periods of musicians’ creative work are distinguished, and the possible reasons of this discrepancy are determined.
