BLACK ENGLISH AND MYTH “THE STANDARD ENGLISH LANGUAGE”

Abstract. The article considers the notion of “the standard English language”, and explains why it cannot be the single, that is “standard”, that should be used for teaching in schools and colleges. The author also gives the examples of Black English, indicating that this dialect has a special grammatical system and follows the certain rules of grammar.
