Abstract. The article analyzes the colour spectrum of London text in the English literature, which allows revealing the features of its cognitive space that is created by the concept COLOUR, achieving linguistic representation and interpretation within this supertext with words 'grey', 'black', 'red' and 'pink'. The analysis is carried out by the material of the works of Ch. Dickens, J. Greenwood, S. Kinsella, N. Hornby, etc.
