PROBLEMS OF TEXT FORMATION

Abstract.
The article considers the topical problems of linguistics, such as the formation of texts, text-formative means, the structural parts of a text and text formation functions. All units (word, sentence, complex syntactic unity) of linguistic level in the structure of a text can participate in the formation of a text. Text-formative units are selected at the wish of the author. Each text depending on informational, communicative, aesthetic, cumulative characteristics performs its functions for society.
