Abstract.
The article presents the definitions and examples of three types of the simplification leading to the appearing of the quasi-derivatives in the French language within lexico-semantic field «jurisprudence terms». The structural-semantic features of the quasi-derivatives let illustrate the differences between the development ways of the quasi-derivative stems in the lexical units, which belonged to the derivatives before.
