“SHORT SONG” BY V. V. BYKOV. GENRE CODE OF NONCLASSICAL MILITARY WORK

Abstract. The article reveals the genre features of nonclassical military work of contemporary period. It is supposed that personal conflicts become the object of an epic vision, the author’s position is actualized in the form of subjective personal narrative, and the reader is placed in a situation of existential ethical choice. The revealed features are considered by the material of the analysis of the war story “Short Song” by V. V. Bykov, where the figurative motive of the song performs a meaning-formative role in the poetics.
