Abstract.
In the article the notion of political discourse and its dependence on the factors of extra-linguistic character are described. The author pays special attention to political discourse variety in time aspect. That includes the analysis of a definite period ideology as an integral part of language consciousness. The variety dynamics is studied by the example of the speeches of the American politicians of the 60s of the XX thcentury and the USA modern statesmen.
