Abstract.
The article is devoted to the language means of modeling the alternative picture of the world. In the novels of H. van Zaichik the mechanisms of modeling the fictional reality, which are typical of this genre, function: onyms, neologisms of different types, old and stylized vocabulary; exoticisms and barbarisms, also the interaction of real and fictional nominations and language game. However, most of the techniques, based on the interaction of the Russian and Chinese cultures, are the result of individual’s verbal creativity and the constant sign of his individual style.
