Abstract.
The article considers the stylistic syntax of the German robinsonade “New Robinson” by J. H. Campe in order to reveal one of the reasons of this genre popularity among readership. The object of the article is syntactic structures and techniques used by the author in the process of writing the analyzed work. The work also uses such research methods as a method of continuous sampling, a method of quantitative analysis, a descriptive method. The results obtained in the study can be used in the process of teaching practice of the Russian, German languages, stylistics and literary criticism.
