PLOT PECULIARITIES OF D. A. TOMSKAYA’S OLONKHO “ЮЧЮГЭЙ ЮДЮГЮЙЭН, КУСАГАН ХОДЖУГУР”

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the plot structure analysis of the Yakut heroic epos “Ючюгэй Юдюгюйэн, Кусаган Ходжугур”. This story refers to Verkhoyansk telling tradition. As to plot structure olonkho is divided into three parts; the first part content is adopted from the tale, and the second and third parts are constructed according to the canonical scheme. As a result the author comes to the conclusion that D. A. Tomskaya’s olonkho “Ючюгэй Юдюгюйэн, Кусаган Ходжугур” is a striking example of the northern epic tradition.
