ABOUT HISTORY OF TENSE SYSTEM FORMATION IN TUVINIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. In the article the history of tense system formation in the Tuvinian language is studied. The tense systems of the Old Turkic and modern Tuvinian languages are compared. The genetic connection of tense forms in the modern Tuvinian language with the verb forms of the Old Turkic languages is retraced; their semantics is compared. The tendency of tense system development in the Tuvinian language is determined.
