Abstract.
In the article the functions and meanings of the hero’s helpers’ images in D. A. Tomskaya’s olonkho “Ючюгэй Юдюгюйэн, Кусаган Ходжугур” and the Yakut fairy-tale of the same name are considered in comparative aspect. The article subject matter is connected with the issue of both genres mutual influence. The main task of the scientific article is the revelation of the general moments and distinctive features of the researched images in the Yakut fairy-tale and olonkho.
