DIALECT METAPHOR STUDY IN SEMANTIC ASPECT

Abstract.
The article is devoted to dialect metaphor consideration in the frames of semantic aspect by the example of Don Cossack dialects. Dialect metaphor in contrast to literary one has wide variants characteristic thanks to which it allows revealing more delicate nuances of senses, differences and similarities of words meanings. By the concrete examples the author shows how dialect speech allows seeing the development tendencies of these or those metaphorical meanings and lexemes choice regularity for the explication of these meanings. Also it is affirmed that there are definite algorithms of metaphorical transformations; in metaphorical phrases traditional vocabulary limited with memory volume and conditioned by identification function is used.
