IMAGE AND MOTIF SIMILARITIES IN VYACH. V. IVANOV’S AND N. A. PAVLOVICH’S LYRICS

Abstract.
In the article the poetess N. A. Pavlovich’s little-studied creative work of the beginning of the XX
th century is researched. Her early lyrics of the 1920s is considered from the point of view of the literary influence of her teacher Vyach. V. Ivanov; the examples of image, motif and rhythmic similarities in their poetry are given. Special attention is paid to the similarity of spiritual-religious motifs in their lyrics. Creative interpretation features of the poets’ modern themes and personal spiritual experience are revealed.
