FEMALE IMAGES IN D. A. TOMSKAYA’S OLONKHO

Abstract.
For the first time the article considers the system of images in D. A. Tomskaya’s olonkho “ Ючюгэй Юдюгюйэн, Кусаган Ходжугур ”, in particular conducts the analysis of the main female images. The female images in this olonkho have a definite place among other epic characters. The main types of female characters are revealed. The image of a woman from the tribe айыы gathers all best qualities of an epic woman in exaggerated form in olonkho, this is a woman who arranges the world. Women абаасы act as strong shamans and assistants of negative characters. Women-enchantresses are presented in olonkho in the image of goddesses, patronizing the main heroes of olonkho.
