CLASSICAL JAPANESE TANKA IN RUSSIAN POETRY: FEATURES OF GENESIS AND FUNCTIONING

Abstract.
The Japanese poetic miniatures are considered in the article as an organic part of the original Japanese art, for this purpose the genetical determination of their poetics by the same principles of Buddhism, which underlie the Japanese aesthetics and culture in general, is revealed. The author identifies the historical time and sets the reasons of awakening interest in the Japanese poetry in Europe and Russia, showing the ways in which the Japanese strophic forms adaptation to the poetics of the Russian symbolism in the works of A. Bely, K. Balmont V. Brusov is performed.
