Abstract.
This article is devoted to the popular emotivity direction (linguistics of emotions) in modern linguistics. The author studies the linguistic means of emotivity in the Russian and German languages by the material of the songs texts of modern musical groups as a product directed at recipients’ concrete class to get a definite emotional reaction. In the article the quality and quantity analysis is done, the striking examples of the linguistic means of expressing emotions are given in the languages under consideration.
