Abstract.
The article is devoted to the consideration of verbal adjectives specificity, particularly to the formation of their lexical and word composition semantics. By the material of the adjectives motivated by the verbs of the lexico-semantic field “agrarian production (plant growing)” the methods of formulating the word composition meaning of derivatives, the interconnection of their lexical and derivative semantics are considered; hypotheses about the word composition passivity of some motivating verbs as to derivative adjectives are made. According to the research results the conclusions about the methods of revealing the word composition semantics of verbal adjective taking into account the syntagmatics of derivative adjective and its lexical meaning are made.
