Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of motives in the collection "Morning" by G. N. Keznetsova, the writer of Russian émigré community of the first wave. Several through motives are emphasized in the article: the motive of mountains, home, garden, path, blue color, music, death and Kiev revealing the internal state of the heroes-emigrants missing their home country. And also the functions of motives are detected in the article, for example, the motive of mountains is the symbol of hope.
