DEFINITION OF ESSENCE OF CONCEPT «FRENCH YOUTH LANGUAGE»

Abstract.
The article considers the issues of the French youth language. The ideas of French linguists concerning the definition of essence of the concept “French Youth Language” and the use of necessary terminology are analyzed. The terms denoting the notion “French Youth Language”, the functions of the French youth language and the reasons of its emergence are considered.
