Abstract.
The article is devoted to the research of those Tatar paroemias in which the folk wisdom in the sphere of barter and attitude towards money is brilliantly reflected (market, trade). The paroemias are analyzed where such money measures as ruble, coin and copeck play the important role; they are used not only for representation of the bill, purchase and sell but also take part in the evaluation of peoples' everyday life, their relationships so in this way help to make figurative meaning.
