Abstract.
The article is devoted to the study of those Tatar paroemias in the content of which the numerical indicators play an important role. The paroemias are analyzed where the numbers serve as philosophical understanding of qualitative and quantitative correlations between the subjects and events of material and mental worlds. The research data prove that the examples of transition of quantitative changes into the qualitative ones or vice versa may be found not only in all spheres of life and activity of a person but also in folklore.
