EPIC NARRATION PECULIARITIES IN THE NOVEL “CLARISSA, OR THE HISTORY OF A YOUNG LADY”

Abstract.
The most famous S. Richardson’s novel “Clarissa, or the History of a Young Lady” is considered in the article. The basic analysis subject is the peculiarities of this work epic narration. Such approach leads to the possibility to highlight those artistic aspects of the text, which, in our opinion, are not studied enough. The revealed peculiarities allow concluding about epic tradition enrichment that is connected with a new genre variety appearance.
