DEVELOPING COMPENSATORY COMPETENCE IN THE PROFESSION-ORIENTED FOREIGN WRITING

Abstract.
The article considers the conception of compensatory competence, its role in the development of skills of profession-oriented writing. The author analyzes the backgrounds necessary for developing this type of competence and kinds of exercises promoting the realization of this goal. The article accentuates the importance of the skill of interdisciplinary transfer of knowledge from the one type of speech activity to the other as one of the basic criteria for knowledge perception.
