Abstract.
The article by the materials of mass media considers the powerful word-formative possibilities of the Latin language for structural and semantic representation of German vocabulary. Such lexical units, in spite of the minimum use of the Latin in real-life communication, function in the sphere of scientific terminology, represent various conceptions in the professional languages.
