Abstract.
The article is devoted to revealing the structure of the functional-semantic field of taxis in the modern French language. The paper investigates the linguistic means for the representation of taxis semantics and implements their stratification on the basis of the opposition “nucleus / periphery” which is a manifestation of the asymmetry of functioning of the constituents of this field in the modern French language.
