Abstract.
The article touches upon the issues of modern Kabardino-Cherkess literature. The author studies its ascription to the number of bi(poly)lingual literatures and its role in the cross-cultural communication of the XXI century; grounds his proposition by numerous examples from the literature of the Soviet, late Soviet and post-Soviet periods in the history of Kabardino-Cherkess literature.
