Abstract.
The article deals with the typology of characters of a “strange” hero of V. M. Shukshin who bears the features of child psychology. During investigation the author identified hero-action boy, hero-philosopher, hero-dreamer, hero-lucky fellow. These types do not cover all the characterology of V. M. Shukshin but they happen to be most common in the writer’s stories.
